Word on the Street
My latest painting, "Anger Will Only Weaken You," is a powerful reminder wrapped in bold, expressive color. Measuring 8.5 x 11 inches, this piece features the phrase in a raw, graffiti-inspired style — sharp dark blue letters, crisply outlined in white and gold. The background pulses with energy, a vivid blend of yellow, green, and blue that suggests the emotional turbulence we often feel but must rise above. Every stroke is a reflection on how holding onto anger can drain us, while letting go can set us free.
This artwork channels both chaos and calm, capturing the moment when we choose peace over rage. I wanted the colors to clash and harmonize, just like emotions do inside us.
