Abstract
"X Y," my 2018 painting, represents a deeply personal exploration of abstract forms and vibrant colors. Using watered-down acrylic paints and ink on brown paper, I embarked on a creative journey that allowed me to express complex ideas and emotions. The background of the artwork showcases a mesmerizing pattern of colors, reminiscent of a rainbow, created through the delicate interplay of watered-down acrylics. This ethereal backdrop sets the stage for the centerpiece of the composition—a captivating abstract shape that takes center stage. At first glance, it resembles the head of a sperm cell, symbolizing the concept of creation and the beginning of life. This form intricately intertwines into a body-like shape, which gracefully flows towards the base of the painting, eventually transforming into an almost guppy-like tail.
