This painting marked my return to the medium after a long hiatus. At the time, I had become deeply immersed in photography and had stepped away from painting for several years. Creating this piece reminded me of the joy and challenge of stretching my hand across canvas once again. It carries with it the energy of rediscovery and the excitement of reconnecting with a practice I had left behind.
