“Sparkling Aces” was completed in October of 2025 but sat quietly in my studio for several months before I felt it was ready to share. It is one of several pieces I created from the same photograph of the incredible @Fabulance, whose presence has always carried an effortless blend of confidence and grace. In this painting, I highlighted her lips and dress in a deep fiery red, surrounding her with an atmosphere of nostalgic color—those bright aquas and warm yellows reminiscent of early 1980s Miami. The palette was chosen to capture that electric energy of the era, where style met emotion, and art shimmered with bold intention.
To finish it, I covered the top layer with fine glitter, letting it catch the light like her own natural brilliance. Much like her work on stage and behind the curtain, this piece radiates charisma and strength. I have been blessed to meet many wonderful people through my creative journey, and she is certainly among those I count as a gift. For those who know her, you understand how her talent and heart fill every space she enters. For those who have yet to, I believe one day you will.
