My latest portrait, titled "Our Lady Fatima," is a deeply personal and spiritual exploration that blends sacred traditional imagery with a distinct, contemporary artistic voice. Depicting the Virgin Mary topped with a striking, ornate golden and crimson crown, the piece captures a profound sense of reverence and timeless grace. Her gentle, serene gaze invites the viewer into a moment of quiet contemplation, serving as an anchor of peace against a complex and richly textured backdrop.
Central to the emotional weight of this portrait is the prominent depiction of the Immaculate Heart at the base. Encircled by a crown of sharp thorns and erupting into vibrant, dancing flames, the heart provides a powerful visual contrast to the soft, pale tones of her expression and veil.
