This piece is deeply personal—not only am I named after the King himself, but by a twist of fate, my son was born on his birthday, forever linking us to the legend of rock and roll. The textured layers and moody tones in this artwork mirror the depth of Elvis’s music, which continues to resonate through generations.
I named this piece "Kentucky Rain" after one of my favorite Elvis songs—a soulful ballad with haunting harmonies and a melody that stays with you long after the last note fades. The emotion in his voice, the powerful backing vocals, and the longing in the lyrics have captivated me since the first time I heard it. This painting is not just a tribute to Elvis but a reflection of my lifelong connection to his music and legacy.
