This is my latest painting titled "Lady Peacock," measuring 8.5 by 11 inches. The artwork was created using a gel plate transfer technique, which allowed for rich texture and depth. I limited the color palette to two tones, using a deep black and an iridescent green that shifts in the light, giving the piece a sense of movement and elegance. The contrast between the two paints enhances the mood and highlights the subject with dramatic intensity.
The focal point is the bust of a woman who appears both serious and beautiful, her gaze calm yet commanding. Her long flowing hair is decorated with intricate peacock feathers that extend outward, suggesting grace and strength. The feathers add a regal element that complements her quiet confidence. This piece reflects both the mystique and allure of the peacock, embodied in human form.
