Just finished a brand new painting that I'm so excited to share It's 8.5 by 11 inches acrylic on cardstock and features a gel plate transfer made from a candid photo I took of the ever charming Ace This moment was captured right after her brilliant performance as Roz in 9 to 5 where she absolutely lit up the stage I was lucky enough to catch her in that sweet space of celebration and adrenaline soaking in the cheers and love from the audience
This piece is a mix of spontaneity and texture bringing together the raw energy of that night and the softness of a moment well deserved The gel plate transfer gives the image a dreamy layered feel that pairs beautifully with the acrylic details surrounding her It feels alive personal and full of gratitude for the magic of live performance and the power of presence Ace shone so brightly and I hope this painting captures even a spark of that light
