Cuts in Yellow is an abstract acrylic painting on paper done with two colors painted on paper then textured with a spatula. The spatula gave the orange paint deep ling “cuts” over the yellow background. I also love seeing the deep grooves on the back of this piece from the writing on the back. While this wasn’t done intentionally, I do love the extra layer of texture it created.
