This is a painting created somewhere between 2000 and 2010. It’s a completely abstract painting and I used a lot of yellow, beige, gray and browns in it’s creation. There is very little brushwork in this painting and a lot of spatula to create the textured and rough backgrounds and layering. The top may look like symbols but it’s just experimentation with a thin brush. It’s also the only time I used a brush on this small piece.
