Blue Sparkle is a collaboration between my very talented daughter and me. It started with a simple sketch she made, which I then adapted into a full painting using the back of a recycled cardboard Bubly box. This piece stands as a shared creation between father and daughter, blending our ideas and expressions into something meaningful. Beyond the visual result, it is an ode to her and her future, shaped by love, creativity, and mutual inspiration.
By choosing to work on recycled materials like cardboard, I contribute in my own small way to reducing waste and promoting sustainability. Each piece becomes more than just a work of art; it becomes a statement about responsibility and care for the world our children will inherit. Blue Sparkle also connects deeply to our shared love for anime, a passion that began in my early years and later became something we both appreciated. To honor her original sketch, I maintained a black and white feel and used a two tone palette of white and blue to capture the spirit of her character design.
