More Word on the Street
“Love Always Wins” is an 8.5" x 11" acrylic piece on cardstock and part of an ongoing series where I explore life messages through a street and urban art lens. This work features a soft, grungy beige background, serving as a weathered wall for the message to emerge from. Layered on top are three rolled blocks of black and green, adding structure and urban texture. The words “Love Always Wins” are boldly written in a fat orange marker across the blocks, traced in playful green bubble letters to give the message presence and vibrancy. The title appears again in a thin green cursive at both the top and bottom of the piece—like a whisper above and below the louder central statement.
This painting is meant to stand as a bright, defiant reminder that no matter how rough the surface or chaotic the backdrop, love endures and rises above. It’s a piece born from hope and resistance, pulling from street art’s raw immediacy to share a universal truth. Whether tagged on cardboard or shouted from rooftops, the message is simple but vital: love always finds a way to win.
