My latest artwork, "Love is Chaos", is an 8.5" x 11" mixed media piece that throws you straight into the wild, unpredictable heart of emotion. Created with acrylic, ink, and spray paint on green paper, the background is a riot of neon pinks, electric blues, fiery reds, and oranges—colors that clash, dance, and collide in beautiful disarray. At the center lies a large, dark teal area, grounding the composition like a calm eye in the storm. Over this, grungy yellow printed flower shapes bloom with intentional messiness, representing the beauty that often grows out of turmoil.
Layered on top in flowing cursive, the phrase "love is chaos" is written in dark blue Sharpie—simple, raw, and honest. It’s a declaration that love isn't always tidy or poetic; it’s loud, unfiltered, and layered with contradiction. The piece doesn’t aim to romanticize love—it revels in its disorder, in its tension between beauty and wreckage. "Love is Chaos" invites the viewer to stop expecting control and start embracing the mess that makes it real.
