Abstract
This is my latest artwork titled Aqualishious. It is a mixed media piece created with acrylic, ink, and collage on cardboard, made in collaboration with my three year old son. His fingerprints can be seen in the ink drawing that we collaged onto the surface, blending our creativity into one playful expression. Together we worked with bright metallic aqua circles, golden and silver sharpie lines, bold yellows, and simple shapes that came alive as we painted side by side. The work captures the joy and spontaneity of creating without rules, guided only by curiosity and shared imagination.
Like most of the art we make together, Aqualishious is far more about the time spent than the final result. Each brushstroke and fingerprint is a memory, a small part of our growing story as a family of artists. My son’s early explorations, my daughter’s beautiful anime art and expressive voice, and my own work all connect through this shared love of creativity. This piece stands as a reminder that art can be both a bond and a celebration of family.
