More Word on the Street
This piece is titled Good Things Are On The Way For You and it was created on recycled cardboard as part of my ongoing relationship with found materials. The surface carries its own history before paint ever touches it, and that history becomes part of the message. The words are direct, almost confrontational in their optimism, meant to stop someone in their tracks and ask them to believe it even if only for a moment.
Good Things Are On The Way For You belongs to my larger series Word on the Street, which lives both inside and outside traditional art spaces. These works are not meant to be precious or protected behind glass. They are meant to be found, weathered, taken, ignored, or cherished. The act of leaving them behind is just as important as the act of making them.
This painting is part of my ongoing street drops where I leave free art in public spaces with inspirational, motivational, and thoughtful messages. The goal is simple connection. A stranger finds it on a hard day or a good one and carries the message with them, or leaves it for the next person. Art does not always need permission or an audience that paid for entry. Sometimes it just needs a street corner and the right words at the right time.
