More Abstract
My newest work titled Go Box represents an exciting shift in my creative process as I explore the tactile nature of mixed media and collage. By layering physical materials like cardboard and hand cut paper I wanted to build a composition that feels both spontaneous and structured. This piece is about momentum and the drive to move forward which is reflected in the energetic arrangement of shapes and the bold lettering that anchors the work. It serves as a visual reminder to keep pushing boundaries in both life and art.
In terms of technique I leaned into a raw street art aesthetic that emphasizes gritty textures and vibrant color contrasts. I used a palette of bright teal and sunny yellow against the earthy tones of reclaimed cardboard to create a sense of urban industrialism. The circular cutouts featuring energetic markings and the word GO were placed to guide the eye through the layers of the collage. Each element was chosen to contribute to a surface that feels weathered yet full of life which is a consistent theme throughout my current portfolio.
Completing Go Box has allowed me to experiment with the physical depth that only mixed media can provide. It feels like a natural evolution of my work as I continue to merge traditional painting with found objects and contemporary graphic elements. I hope this piece inspires a sense of action and curiosity in those who view it as it represents a very personal moment of creative discovery for me. Thank you for following along with my latest projects and for supporting this ongoing exploration of color and form. #GoBox
