More Abstract
In my latest piece titled Wiggly Wiggles I wanted to capture the pure essence of movement and the rhythmic energy that flows through the natural world. This painting is a departure from my more structured narratives and instead focuses on the spontaneous joy of line and form. I allowed my brush to follow a path of least resistance creating a series of undulating shapes that seem to dance across the canvas. There is a sense of liberation in this work as it avoids the constraints of realism and embraces the fluid beauty of the subconscious mind.
The interplay of color and texture in Wiggly Wiggles is designed to evoke a feeling of constant motion and transformation. I utilized a layered approach to give the piece a physical depth that invites the viewer to follow each curve and twist as if they were tracking a pulse. By stripping away representational elements I am challenging the audience to find their own meaning within the vibrations of the composition. It is a celebration of the chaotic yet harmonious patterns that exist everywhere from the microscopic to the cosmic scale.
