The “3” in this piece represents the “3” in “213,” completing the reference to our old apartment number. Like the other two paintings in the series, this one is packed with Easter eggs—subtle nods to a time and place that helped shape who we were. Every detail carries a memory, a moment, or a feeling from that chapter of our lives, inviting the viewer to uncover the layers of a time gone by.
