Abstract
My latest piece, simply titled it, is a small yet evocative abstract work measuring 4.75” x 5.5”, created with acrylic on repurposed packaging cardboard. Though modest in size, the surface becomes a dynamic landscape where cool whites, light greens, and soft blues blend and flow together, creating a sense of calm and movement. Metallic aqua accents shimmer across the surface, catching the light and adding a sense of depth and mystery to the composition.
Cutting across this serene palette is a single swirling copper line, drifting horizontally like a river or current—quiet yet intentional. It acts as both contrast and anchor, grounding the ethereal coolness with warmth and energy. it is a meditation on flow, transformation, and the quiet beauty found in overlooked materials. What once carried weight as packaging now carries meaning as art.
