Artwork > Into the Wild

This was created for one of my friends who I’ve known since elementary school. She loved the beach and was moving up north so I created this painting imagining a coastal place up in Maine somewhere.

This is also a bit of an unusual style for me as it was done with spatula and using huge amounts of paint. A breakaway for me from the watered sown acrylics that give most of my painting a water color like feel. It is also absent the splashes and drips found throughout most of my works.
