"Buffalo Jack" is an 8.5" x 11" gel plate transfer of a photograph of a majestic buffalo in a field, created with the help of my son. The buffalo, standing strong in copper tones, contrasts beautifully against a beige field and a bold orange background. This piece is more than just an artwork—it’s a reflection of our shared experience in Yellowstone two years ago, where we marveled at these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
Beyond the image itself, this painting represents the bond between father and son—the way moments like that trip become lasting memories, shaping who we are. Creating this together made it even more meaningful, a reminder that art, like family, is built on connection, experience, and the stories we share.
