More Abstract
This is my latest painting titled Our Peace. Creating this piece was a journey through layers of texture and emotion where I allowed the brush to move with a sense of raw intuition. I wanted to capture the delicate balance between chaos and stillness that we often navigate in our daily lives. By blending bold strokes of crimson and earth tones against cool blues and greens I aimed to visualize the quiet strength found within moments of personal reflection.
The process of layering and scraping back paint reflects the way memories and experiences settle over time. There is a specific energy in the center of the canvas where the darker values meet the vibrant highlights representing a grounded sense of presence amidst a shifting environment. I focused on the tactile nature of the medium to ensure that every mark felt intentional yet spontaneous. For me this work serves as a reminder that tranquility is not the absence of noise but the ability to remain centered through it all.
