This painting serves as a visceral exploration of origin and the remnants of existence. Through a complex process of layering and texture, I wanted to capture the feeling of something ancient being birthed into a modern, chaotic space. The circular forms act as biological vessels or protective cells, cradling dark, shadowed figures that suggest a primitive state of being. By utilizing a gel plate to build up these translucent veils of color, I am able to create a sense of depth that feels both subterranean and atmospheric, inviting the viewer to look through the surface rather than just at it.

The interplay between the warm ochre tones and the cooler blues creates a rhythmic tension that mirrors the unpredictable nature of life itself. I deliberately integrated stippled patterns and erratic markings to suggest the passage of time and the erosion of memory. Each stroke and imprint is an intentional movement toward uncovering what lies beneath the surface of our collective consciousness. This piece is not just an image but a physical record of my creative intuition, where every artifact within the frame represents a silent narrative of growth and preservation.
